Mother Nature is always in flux, but mankind is both smart and adaptable. In other words, whenever she changes her mood, we always have the right tool for the job. And when that job is protecting against blustery, cold conditions, the right tool is our Deflect Comp Shoe Covers. Compared to our Element line of shoe covers, Deflect places more of a focus on wind resistance, so you'll find a stretchable construction with lightweight insulating properties. And to make getting in and out of the covers easy, we also included a rear zipper. - Deflect fabrics feature a good amount of stretch and a brushed back interior to ensure a light level of insulation. - Abrasion-resistant bottom and toe panels increase the lifespan. - A universal cleat opening makes these covers compatible with either road or mountain shoes. - Reflective elements - Rear Velcro closure

The sun is both a strong ally and a superior foe, meaning that we need it to survive, yet it's hell-bent on harming us should we choose to worship it with our bare skin. For this reason, we created our Deflect UV Arm Covers. Don't let the full-arm coverage fool you, as they aren't necessarily for keeping you warm—although they could hit the sweet spot on a very moderate day. Instead, they were developed to keep your skin protected from the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays, all without sacrificing anything to either comfort or temperature management. This is furthered with next-to-skin NILIT Breeze yarns that reduce body temperature, much like the feeling of cool, minty breath after chewing certain gums. This has been coupled with a right & left specific design that prevents any unwanted pinching or chafing, all while serving up a UV 50+ level of protection. - Deflect UV 50+ protects your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays. - Engineered construction minimizes edges and stitching, creating a smooth, compressive feel against your skin. - Fabric Content: Knit 95% Nylon, 5% Spandex - Knitted articulation and openings keep the warmers in place for the perfect fit. - NILIT Breeze yarns react to body heat and sweat, creating a cooling sensation that's been independently verified to lower body temperature.

There are days in the saddle where a jacket would count as overkill, yet it's still too cold to dress like it's full-on summertime. And for the colder version of these kind of days, Specialized created their Therminal Arm Warmers. They have a construction that's comprised of their Therminal fabric, which is designed to both insulate and manage moisture buildup. To do so, it has a brushed fleece interior with a light loft that pulls moisture away from skin to evaporate it at the material's surface. This loft also has the added benefit of insulation, which occurs by trapping tiny pockets of warmth between the skin and the fabric. At the exterior, you'll find light levels of wind and water protection that'll have you riding comfortably through mixed conditions. As for fit, the warmers have an articulated design that conforms to the arm and its various positions and movements while cycling. And to ensure that they stay set where you want them, they've included fold-over cuffs with a light silicone print to gently hold them in place. - Therminal fabrics feature a brushed fleece interior that insulates, while remaining highly breathable and effective at managing moisture. - Dual seam construction is simple and comfortable. - Light tack grippers keep the warmers in place throughout the motions of cycling. - Reflective elements increase your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions. - Deflect UV 50+ protects your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays.

To make the Therminal Engineered Arm Warmers, we used a special cylindrical knitting machine that allows us to engineer areas of stretch, compression, and articulation while creating a seamless design. Lighter weight than our standard Therminal Warmer collection, this seamless version is perfect to stash in a jersey pocket when you need a little extra protection on a fast descent or for a long climb in the shadows. We use a yarn that offers good loft for trapping body heat and adding a good sense of durability, while a knit construction allows for excellent air permeability and breathability. This technique and design also comes with the added benefit of aligning with your elbow joint, so the warmers will stay put with just the right amount of compression at the arm and wrist cuffs. - Therminal fabrics feature a brushed fleece interior that insulates while remaining highly breathable and effective at managing moisture. - Engineered construction minimizes edges and stitching, creating a smooth, compressive feel against your skin. - Knitted articulation and openings keep the warmers in place for the perfect fit. - Deflect UV 50+ protects your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays.
